4+1 MBA Program

Florida Polytechnic University and Florida Southern College have come together to provide students a smooth pathway to an MBA. This program provides all undergraduate students the opportunity to complete the Florida Southern College MBA program in one academic year, after receiving their bachelor’s degree from Florida Poly. Florida students can choose from the Online MBA or the Saturday-Hybrid MBA, with the admission criteria being the same for either program.

Admission Requirements

Undergraduate GPA of 3.0
GMAT of 500 or above or GRE equivalent
Waiver of GMAT available for a GPA above 3.25
Wavier of the TOEFL
Completed application

Admissions Process

Florida Poly incoming freshmen and transfers will be awarded automatic admission to the Florida Southern MBA program, provided they meet the following conditions:

Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 throughout their undergraduate degree program.
Remain in good academic standing, making satisfactory academic progress, and enroll full-time each term.
Remain in good standing with the Florida Poly student code of conduct.

Students may apply for the program in the Fall of their junior year and can be accepted as an early admission to the MBA program.

To apply, visit Florida Southern College’s Admissions. Students will need to contact the Florida Poly University Registrar to have official transcripts sent.

Admitted 4+1 MBA students will be allowed to complete 9 credit hours of graduate work prior to the completion of their undergraduate degree at Florida Polytechnic University. Course options include the core courses

BUS 6460 - Marketing Strategy
BUS 6560 - International Business
and MBA electives
