IDS 5XXX - Thesis

Credits: 3 - 6

Prerequisites: Permission of program director
Course Description: Students will explore and conduct original research on a topic, under the guidance of a faculty member. The student must submit a thesis proposal approved by a thesis committee and successfully defend the work in a public venue. The thesis should facilitate engagement with academic and professional communities and STEM related industries. A successful thesis will explore, evaluate and extend creative uses of emerging methods, models and processes and make a significant contribution to the body of knowledge of the field.
