Division of Science, Arts, and Mathematics
Division Director: Dr. Nicoleta Hickman, Associate Professor
The disciplines in Science, Arts, and Mathematics (SAM) deliver the critical coursework in advanced physical and natural sciences, arts, humanities, social sciences, and mathematics that support the upper-level study in each of the academic degree programs. The Division of Science, Arts, and Mathematics includes the Departments of Natural Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Applied Mathematics.
Faculty in these areas teach students at all levels, from first-year to graduate courses, as these areas comprise essential knowledge, skills, and competencies that shape effective practitioners and professionals in any field.
The Division is excited to offer two new programs starting with the fall 2019 academic year and open to new, incoming students: Bachelor of Science, Engineering Physics (Program Description) and Bachelor of Science, Engineering Mathematics (Program Description).
