Counseling resources (Florida Poly’s Health and Wellness program) and Care Services can help students identify and overcome barriers that may affect their ability to accomplish their educational goals. Counseling services at Florida Polytechnic University are designed to support students in maintaining their overall well-being. Counseling is tailored on an individual basis to assist students with a variety of personal concerns. Counseling on campus is available on a short-term basis and can be accessed by calling, emailing or visiting the Care Manager (List contact/location information here). Students can also receive assistance on a “walk-in basis” in case of an emergency. Students who require counseling on a long-term basis can be assisted with finding services within the community.
Students also have access to counseling support on a 24/7 basis through BayCare’s Student Assistance Program by calling 800-878-5470.
