Prerequisites: MAC 2311 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus 1 and STA 2023 - Statistics 1 or equivalent. Course Description: The course is organized around a coherent theme each semester, but that theme will change from semester to semester depending on current student and faculty interest and the issues prominent at the time. Possible examples include the Economics of Health, the Economics of the Federal Budget, Debt, and Entitlements, or the Economics of the Market for STEM Graduates. Meets communication/writing-intensive requirements (W).
