Degree Requirements
A minimum of thirty (30) hours is required for a master’s degree. Six (6) hours must be engineering core, six (6) hours must be mechanical engineering track core, and nine (9) hours must be mechanical engineering electives.
Non-thesis course-only students will complete six (6) hours of engineering management electives with a three (3) hour independent study. If a student is on the thesis pathway, they will complete three (3) hours of engineering management electives, and six (6) hours of thesis courses.
