EML 4234 - Engineering Failure Analysis

Course Description: An introduction to engineering failure analysis will be presented in this course. The failure analysis methodology will be introduced along with macroscopic and miroscopic examination methods to identify common casuses of failures in a wide variety of engineering structures through analysis of case studies.
Prerequisites: EGN 3331: STRENGTH OF MATERIALS, EGN 3365: STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF MATERIALS
