EML 4541 - Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics

Course Description: An introduction to fatigue and fracture mechanics will be presented in this course. Topics will include the failure analysis process, and fatigue and fracture mechanics exhibited by metals, ceramics, polymers and composite materials used in a variety of engineering applications and subject to various environmental/in-service operating conditions.
Prerequisites: EGN 3331 Strength of Materials  and EGN 3365 Structure and Properties of Materials
