PHZ 3601 - Special Relativity

Credits: 3

Course Description: This course explores spacetime and its effect on objects moving at high speeds. Topics include the postulates of the special theory of relativity, time dilation, length contraction, spacetime diagrams, proper time, and effects on momentum and energy.
Prerequisites: PHY 3101-Modern Physics and PHY 3221-Classical Mechanics.
