CES 3102 - Structural Analysis

Course Description: This course offers a comprehensive study of the analysis of statically determinate and indeterminate structures, including trusses, beams, and frames. Students will learn to model and analyze structures under various loading conditions, employing classical methods such as the force method and displacement method, as well as modern computational techniques. The curriculum emphasizes the importance of structural stability, determinacy, and the application of influence lines. Practical examples and problem-solving sessions are integrated to prepare students for professional practice in structural engineering.
