AMH 3110 - Colonial America: 1491 to the Imperial Crisis

Course Description: This course will survey American history from just prior to the initial exploration and settlement of the Americas to the period of the Imperial Crisis leading up to the American Revolution. The course will explore the creation and development of the English colonies, their development over time, and the interactions between different cultural groups in the colonial world. This course meets communication/writing-intensive requirements (W). 
Prerequisites: ENC 1101 - English Composition 1: Expository and Argumentative Writing  and a 2000-level writing-intensive Humanities or Social Science course.
