AMH 4580 - Native American History from Antiquity to the Present

Course Description: This course will survey the history of the indigenous peoples of what is now the United States (often referred to as Indians or Native Americans), exploring the cultural, political, and social changes Native Americans have experienced throughout their history.  This course will particularly emphasize the history of the United States from the point-of-view of Native Americans.  This course meets communication/writing-intensive requirements (W). 
Prerequisites: ENC 1101 - English Composition 1: Expository and Argumentative Writing  and 2000-level writing-intensive Humanities or Social Science course.
