Prerequisites: EMA 3530C - Introduction to Instrumentation and Characterization or equivalent Course Description: The course provides an advanced inductive learning approach towards theory and real world experimentation utilizing instrumentation and characterization tools. In addition the processes for inferring experimental values, error in the system and other mechanisms. Principles of designing experiments, and validation of methods. Emphasis on proper interpretation of data from experiments and communicating results, including how subtle differences in wording and interdisciplinary applications.
