Electrical Engineering Program Description
Electrical Engineering is a high-quality program focused on education, professional development and research. The program is interdisciplinary and encompasses a range of disciplines including, engineering, science, and mathematics. The program educates students in the fundamental core of Electrical Engineering with concentrations in Control Systems, Digital & Hybrid Systems, Electrodynamics, Magnetics and Semiconductors.
Electrical Engineering Program Mission/Purpose Statement
Consistent with the stated mission of the Florida Polytechnic University, the mission of the Electrical Engineering program is to prepare its graduates for a rapidly changing engineering field. The faculty of the Electrical Engineering program strives to educate and train the students in a technically sound and challenging manner in order to achieve the following educational purpose:
- Prepare students with a strong and competitive foundation in general Electrical Engineering
- Provide quality learning experience and focused training on the current advances in Control Systems, Digital & Hybrid Systems, Electrodynamics, Magnetics and Semiconductors
- Produce graduates who will pursue life-long learning and professional development
