Purpose of the Program:

The Advanced Technology degree program prepares graduates for careers in Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, and Health Informatics, all three of which have many employers offering job opportunities that are in high demand. Students who complete a bachelor degree in the program will be ready to take on positions such as managers of technology, have the ability to embark on a research career in the above disciplines, collaborate in teams, and make a positive contribution to society.

Graduate will know and be able to do:

After graduation, students with a BS in Advanced Technology will be able to:

1. Use critical thinking and problem solving skills in technology and business related disciplines;

2. Understand a broad range of topics related to innovation and creative thinking;

3. Apply the most current technology methods and techniques to system design and development; and

4. Work in a team environment, contribute to, and execute a project management plan.
