EML 4701 - Applications in Computational Fluid Dynamics

Course Description: This course covers the application of numerical methods for solving the governing equations of a fluid flow. This course presents basics discretization methods; error and stability analysis; applications to model equations and further developments. Review of turbulence modeling, grid generation and solution of fluid flow problems using a commercial software.
Prerequisites: MAC 2313 Analytics Geometry and Calculus 3, MAP 2302 Differential Equations
Co-requisite: EGN 3343 Engineering Thermodynamics
