MAC 2313 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus 3

Credits: 4

Course Description: This course introduces the concepts of vectors and geometry in three-dimensional Euclidean space, vector-valued functions in two and three-dimensions, derivatives and integrals of vector-valued functions, and motion in space. Functions of several variables, partial derivatives, gradients, and their application to optimization problems will be discussed. Further topics include multiple integrals and their applications, vector fields, and line integrals leading up to Green’s Theorem.
