Course Description: This course covers the concepts of knowledge management (KM), knowledge discovery (KD), data analytics, and information retrieval (IR). This is an introductory level course designed to familiarize students with the principles and fundamentals of information science theories and methods. The course is intended to introduce and explain foundations that students will need to be able to use and master in their upper level courses, internships and careers. Prerequisites: None
