PHY 4602 - Quantum Mechanics


Credits: 3

Course Description: This course introduces the modern theory of quantum mechanics. It considers both wave and matrix mechanics, as well as their use in modern theory. The subject is developed by studying applications to particle systems, simple harmonic oscillators and the hydrogen atom.
Prerequisites: PHY 3101 - Introduction to Modern Physics  and MAS 3105 - Linear Algebra  and MAP 2302 - Differential Equations
