CRW 2000 - Creative Writing Workshop


Credits: 3

Course Description: This course provides foundational instruction in the analysis and practice of one or more creative writing genre(s): prose fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and/or scriptwriting. The class will discuss the elements of craft as evidenced in exemplary works, and students will present their own written creative work for critique under workshop conditions. Particular genre emphasis will be determined by the instructor (W).
Prerequisites: A grade of “C” or higher in ENC 1101 - English Composition 1: Expository and Argumentative Writing  and ENC 2210 - Technical Writing
