MAP 2302 - Differential Equations

Credits: 3

Course Description: An introduction to differential equations with a focus on practical applications and mathematical modeling. Emphasis is given to general 1st order models and 2nd order linear models, both with initial conditions. Solution techniques include analytical methods, Laplace transforms, and numerical approximations. The course emphasizes developing and analyzing differential equations that model physical situations.
Prerequisites: MAC 2312 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus 2  (with a minimum grade of C)
