COP 2041 - Python 2: Computational Methods and Applications


Credits: 4

Course Description: This course introduces the application of popular Python libraries for data analytics and scientific computing. Topics include the numpy module for manipulation of array-based data, pandas for manipulation of heterogeneous and labeled data, and matplotlib for visualization. Students will design, code, test, visualize, analyze, debug Python functions and programs, and analyze and visualize data in meaningful ways.
Prerequisites: COP 2034 - Introduction to Programming Using Python
