Prerequisites: MAC 2312 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus 2 with a grade of C or higher Course Description: This course is a survey of the basic concepts in probability and statistics with applications in electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering. Topics include probability, common discrete and continuous probability distributions, estimation and hypothesis testing, and simple regression.
**This course is not equivalent to STA 3036 - Probability and Statistics for Business, Data Science, and Economics and will not be approved as a substitution if you change majors into DSBA.
