Prerequisites: EGN 3321 - Dynamics and EGN 3331 - Strength of Materials Course Description: This course is an introductory course into the mechanics associated with space flight. Topics covered includes Keplar’s laws of planetary motion, interplanetary travel, orbital elements, geocentric orbits, time of flight, ground tracks, orbital transfers/maneuvers, and re-entry.
